Oshun (also known as - Ochun, Oxum, Mama Cachita) is an orisha, originally of the Yoruba religion, who has become prominent in many Afro-American religions; especially Santeria.
In Santería, Oshun is the spirit of Sweet Water. Is the embodiment of love and romance, wealth, beauty, abundance, and magickal knowledge. Her power extends over the female reproductive organs, and is petitioned for fertility and to heal female disorders.
