High John the Conqueror Root has little scent on it's own, and is typically enhanced with cassia, vanilla, and a little rose essential oils. This also has a generous amount of High John the Conqueror Root grated into the oil, as well as, small pieces of the root in the bottle to infuse the oil with the roots essence. Shake well before each use.
